South African Railways class 25NC 3436 at De Aar

Caption - South African Railways class 25NC 4-8-4 no. 3436 is seen by the coal stage at De Aar. This loco was named "De Aar" but also carried the name "Molly" on the smokebox door. This loco was built by Henschel in 1953. In April 1984 3436 had non-standard red wheels, no doubt at the request of the depot's inspired management.
