12503 - Coonor steam loco depot
Caption - Southern Railway (India) coal fired X class 0-8-2T no.37384 waits on Coonor shed ready to take the daily passenger down the hill to Mettupalayam. After spending the night at the bottom of the hill it will work tomorrow's train up the rack. On my first visits to this line in 1976 and 1978 all the locos were in blue livery.
