Caption - Insular Lumber on the Philippine island of Negros was the last American style steam operated lumber operation in the World - and the largest. The three-foot six-inch gauge system primarily used Shays with 0-6-6-0 Mallet no.7 built by Baldwin (58239/1925) the sole tender loco, seen here in 1971. Sadly, the line closed in 1976. No. 7 was moved to the Sagay Central sugar mill where it was stored out of use for a number of years.
