Caption - South Afriacn Railways (SAR) Cape gauge class 25NCs 3405 and 3414 departing Fouriesburg in May 1981. This was a heavy special train conveying mine workers from the Transvaal back to Ficksburg and onto Lesotho. Both 25NCs are allocated to Bethlehem where they took the train over from electric traction. 3405 (NBL 28735/53) was one of 11 built in Glasgow whilst 3414 (Henschel 28733/53) was one of 39 constructed by the German manufacturer.
