Caption - The 1050mm gauge Hedjaz Railway links Jordan with Syria. Taken in September 1997 2-8-2 No.51 (Jung 12081/55) is seen at Amman with a special train. The current status of the railway is uncertain. Some passenger traffic appears to operate within Jordan but the big question mark is the Syrian section of the line.
