Caption - Birmingham Moor Street has been nicely refurbished by Chiltern Railways. Every effort has been made to retain the character of this station which was substantially modernised between the wars by the Great western Railway. Here Chiltern Railways Turbostar 168113 waits to depart for London Marylebone. In the early 1960s this station was busy with steam on passenger and freight duties. With binoculars you could also see what was going in and out of New Street too.
