Caption - The Sandaoling Coal Railway (China) was the last railway to feature steam operation on a large scale. The standard gauge railway served several mines, had double track sections and 1 in 50 (2%) gradients. Its final day of operation was 25th April 2022. Pictured are two JS class 2-8-2s 8197 and 8167 going about their duties in January 2016.
