Caption - Thailand Railways (RSR) MacArthur 2-8-2 437 at Thon Buri in yellow livery in March 1972. The MacArthurs were officially known as the USATC S118 class. 741 were built during WW2 to metre, three foot or three-foot six-inch gauges. The design was based on the Australian C17 class locos. At the end of the war, Thailand acquired a batch of these locos and they were used until the end of steam. Baldwin built 33 copies after the war for Indian Railways.
