Trains at the Vienna stations

These images were taken before the opening of the new Vienna Hauptbahnhof and show some of the motive power that was seen during a very short stay in the city. At this time Vienna Sudbahnhof was in the middle of a vast building site and the station looked very temporary. Despite this it was a hot spot of diesel haulage in an otherwise electric dominated railway scene.
