Trams and trains at Nantes

Traffic at Nantes is dominated by multiple units and TGVs with just a handful of loco-hauled services including double headed BB67400's on the to Bordeaux. The city also has a modern tram system which runs past the front of the main railway station. Nantes also has an embryonic tram-train system with the first section to Clisson opening in June 2011. As in other cities in France this service uses former railway routes.
