Railways of Saigon

Vietnam - 2011

This gallery features images taken during a visit to the main station in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). This is the southermost limit of Vietnam Railways. Track is metre gauge and there is considerable Chinese influence in the current rolling stock and operations. The journey from Saigon to Hanoi is some 1070 miles and takes around 30 hours.
