Caption - East African Railways class 60 4-8-2+2-8-4 Garratt 6012 at Nairobi (Kenya) in December 1977. Twenty-nine of these metre gauge Garratts were delivered in 1953 and 1954 and were designed for use on lighter laid lines. The class was built by Beyer Peacock although the first 12 were subcontracted to Franco Belge. 6012 carried two works numbers, Beyer Peacock 7576 and Franco Belge 1994 being one of the subcontracted locos.
