Caption - Vietnamese Railways (VNR) 2-8-2 141-108 at Ga Nam Dinh in November 1989. These metre gauge 2-8-2s were the most powerful Vietnamese steam locos. The first series of 35 locos, including 141-108, were built by SACM in France between 1947 and 1950. Two further examples were built locally from spares and scrapped locos. The final series of 67 locos were delivered between 1965 and 1974 and built at Tangshan in China.
