Caption - German Railways (DB) 750 mm. gauge 0-4-4-0T Mallet 99 637 (Esslingen 1904) is seen at Bad Buchau on the Federseebahn in 1968. This 29 km long line from Schussenried to Riedlingen closed in 1969. Luckily the locomotive survives and has been pllnthed at Bad Buchau since 1971. Sadly, the West German narrow gauge closed early compared with similar lines in East Germany.
