Caption - Howrah Amta/Sheakhala two-foot gauge system in Calcutta. 0-4-2T 34 (Manning Wardle 1988/20) is seen hauling a lengthy freight train at Maidan station in 1968. This suburban system carried many thousands of passengers each day using mainly 0-4-2Ts although there were some 0-4-0Ts too.
