Ukranian Railways L class 2-10-0 3535 at Shepetivka
Caption - Ukranian Railways 1520mm gauge L class 2-10-0 3535 at Shepetivka in June 1991. These post-war 2-10-0's were a mainstay of freight haulage in the Soviet Union. Built at the Kolomna Locomotive Works, 4,199 were built between 1945 and 1955. It seems that many still survive and the L class is believed by some sources to be the largest class of steam locos still in existence.
