Caption - DB 2-10-0 043 094-2 at Rheine depot in 1975. For many British enthusiasts, where steamed finished in 1968, he Rheine to Emden line (West Germany) provided plentiful steam hauled freight and passenger trains. Nearly 2,000 of these class 44 three-cylinder 2-10-0s were built between 1926 and 1949. Some were converted to oil firing and renumbered as class 043. Members of the class were also found in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Austria, France, Belgium and Turkey.
