14108 - Springs steam loco shed
Caption - An SAR 12R class 4-8-2 waits disposal at the back of Springs loco shed. These engines had very large boilers and were very capable at moving heavy trains. In their latter years they were relegated to trip work and shunting heavy trains in marshalling yards.
