12306 - Clean steam locos at Qiqihar depot
Caption - RM 1069 is perhaps not as clean as some of the other RM pacifics on Qiqihar shed but still looks very good. Here the crew are doing last minute checks prior to working a passenger train. China was always seen as being very conformist with everyone following the same routines. However for some reason Qiqihar shed bucked this trend and was unusual in the way so many locos were kept so clean.
