Rybnik depot and station

Rybnik lies to the south-west of Katowice and sees heavy freight traffic which is mainly coal. It is also a centre for seeing class ET42 in operation, which was one the reasons for the visit. Besides PKP Cargo there are many movements using Private Operator locos. The shed and lines of stored locos are adjacent to the station. There is some passenger traffic in the hands of EMUs.
