Prague vintage trams

Czech Republic - 2013

The Prague tramway system is the largest in the Czech Republic using over 900 trams on a network of some 88 miles. Luckily many of the historic trams have been saved and are either located as static exhibits at the Tramway or can be used in service. Tram route 91 is operated by historic trams with the route starting from Stresovice Depot and Museum. The following images were taken during a ride on the tram and also chance sightings of the trams in service on tour 91. Note that there is a charge to visit the museum and tickets for riding the historic trams are purchased from the conductor.
