Lehrte Junction near Hannover

Germany - 2013

Lehrte lies east of Hannover Hbf and sees busy freight traffic throughout the day. In addition (not included in these images) are the loco hauled passenger trains on the main line. Sadly Lehrte is not the easiest place to photograph trains with very limited options. However this negative aspect is far outweighed by the interesting and very frequent traffic at peak times.
