Trains at Kosice station

Slovakia - 2013

Despite being relatively quiet in terms of passenger traffic Kosice station is a good place to spend an hour or two. Class 757 diesels on trains from Zvolen provide a welcome change from electric traction. Most of the freight traffic through the station can be seen with Slovakian class 131 twin Bo-Bo's and Polish class ET41 twin Bo-Bo's the star attractions. Some freight is in the hands of Private Operators using a variety of power including older types of locos.
