Trains at Zilina & Poprad Tatry

Both of these stations offer something of interest to railway enthusiasts. Zilina, although not a busy station, sees a variety of motive power on freight and passenger duties. Poprad Tatry is the mainline terminus of the Tatra Electric Railway although on the day I visited trains were substituted by buses! There was also a lack of freight due to single line working over long sections giving priority to passenger traffic.
