Trains on the Chiltern main line

United Kingdom - 2012

The Chiltern Main Line uses a section of the former Great Western route from Birmingham to London but terminates at Marylebone station rather than Paddington. This series of images were taken during the first weeks of operation of the Chiltern Railways loco-hauled service. These trains provide excellent levels of comfort for the two hour journey via Leamington, Banbury and High Wycombe. The images also reflect the local services operating at either end of the route but concentrate on the main line service.
