Pinzgauerbahn narrow gauge depot

Austria - 2012

The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn runs from the main line at Zell am See some 52.7 km to Krimml. The gauge is 760 mm which approximates to 2 feet 6 inches. Operated by Austrian Railways until 2008 it has since been taken over by the Salzburger Lokalbahn. The modern depot is at Tischlerhausl some 1.5 km from the main line interchange at Zell am See. These images were taken during a brief afternoon visit to track down the three 2095 class diesels, the small 0-6-0 diesel shunter and also to get a look at the historic diesel 2091.03 which was built in 1936.
