Trains at Stratford & London Liverpool Street

United Kingdom - 2012

Serving East Anglia, Liverpool Street station is a busy London terminal with intense traffic at peak hours. A few miles east lies Stratford which was the key transport hub for the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. The majority of trains are formed on recent and no so modern EMUs but there is still a frequent loco hauled service to Norwich in the capable hands of class 90 electrics. In addition Stratford also sees relatively high levels of freight traffic with a mixture of operators using both diesel and electric traction. Most of the freight is based on the busy ocean terminal at Felixstowe.
