Acheres depot (Paris) part 2

This is the second series of images taken during a visit to this large loco depot. One of the great things about France is that it still has large locomotive sheds with a wide variety of motive power. Lying to the west of Paris Acheres depot provides motive power for lines radiating from north and west from the city. In addition it also sees freight and shunting locos too. At weekends the shed is almost full and on this visit over 160 locos were noted including many stored small shunting locos.
