Trains and trams at Halle

Germany - 2011

Halle lies to the west of Leipzig and these images record a hectic hour or so spent there on a very cold Sunday morning in November 2011. As might be expected the station was relatively quiet with little freight activity. However there was steady flow of RE and S-bahn loco-hauled train plus a few services in the hands of DMUs. The station is also convenient to watch some of the tram routes.
