Bolzano on the Brenner route

Bolzano is in a German speaking part of northern Italy on the strategic rail route through the Brenner Pass between Verona and Innsbruck. Italian local and inter-city trains make up much of the traffic with visiting traction from Austria on international inter-city services. In addition regional trains operated by the Sdtirol Bahn (Treno Alto Adige) are also seen with their EMUs painted in an attractive multi-colour livery. This set of images was taken during a brief period of under an hour. I wished I could have stayed longer as freight traffic seemed to be quite heavy.
