Trains at Milano Centrale station
Italy - 2011
Milano Centrale is a great European station. High speed railways connect with Bologna, Rome and Turin. Conventional trains link Milan to Bologna, Turin, Venice, Genoa, Domodossola, Chiasso and Lecco. Opened in 1931 it reflects the political importance that railways once enjoyed. The images try to show the grand architecture and a selection of trains and locomotives that use the station.
