Trains at Clapham Junction

United Kingdom - 2011

Standing at Clapham Junction, Britain's busist station, hardly a minute goes by without seeing a train. At rush hour it's even busier with trains to and from London's Victoria and Waterloo stations running at minimum headway. Served presominantly by South West Trains and Southern, London Overground also make an appearance with trains to Willesden Junction. Sadly these days all regular trains are electric multiple units a far cry from the final years of steam on British Railways when the Bournemouth line was still in the hands of a variety of locomotives.
