Trains around Hannover

Hannover is a busy railway centre. The main station is predominantly passenger traffic with most freight using loop lines around the city. These images give a good impression of passenger traffic and show some of the classes observed in action. Not shown in these images are the freight emu operated S-bahn trains which use br424 and br245 class emus. Unlike the UK, many trains are still loco hauled.
