Langxiang - steam on two gauges

Langxiang is a small town in Heilongjiang province where a narrow gauge forrestry line meets the standard gauge line from Nancha to Suihua with steam on both gauges. Langxiang was an interesting place to spend a few days watching trains with heavy freights on the mainline often having two locos. Some passenger services were also steam hauled using RM class pacifics. Narrow gauge traffic was limited to trains hauling lumber from the forreest to the mill.
