Caption - Indonesian Railways (PJKA) 3-foot 6-inch gauge 2-4-2T no 69 at Tebigtinggi, North Sumatra, in September 1975. Ten of these handsome locos were built by Hanomag in 1928 and 1929. No. 69 was the last of the class and carried works number 10654 of 1929. Originally used for passenger traffic, they ended their days shunting palm oil tankers as in the image above. At Nationalisation of the railways, they retained their original Deli Railway numbers. All had been withdrawn by 1979.
