Caption - South African Railways (SAR) Cape gauge double headed GMAM class 4-8-2+2-8-4 Garratts work on the stiff climb from Albert Falls past Otto's Bluff to the summit at Claridge on the run to Pietermaritzburg in Natal in 1973. The Garratt worked lines in Natal only had a few more years before they were dieselised.
