Caption - Landau Colliery near Witbank in South Africa 3-foot 6-inch gauge 2-8-2+2-8-2 Garratt no.1 gets ready to haul a heavy train of coal to the exchange sidings on the mainline in October 1979. Built by Beyer Peacock (6567/1929), this locos was formerly Rhodesia Railways 16th class no.605. It was one of at least six of this type to work in South Africa and was the last in active service.
