Caption - Zimbabwe Railways (NRZ) 14A class 2-6-2+2-6-2 Garratts 519 and 518 are seen at Heany Junction in July 1982. Beyer-Peacock built 24 of these useful locos in 1953/54. Standard practice when double heading trains with Garratts was to put a long wheelbase wagon between the locos. The train has just arrived from the steeply graded West Nicholson branch. All of the 14A's were refurbished between 1979 and 1981 and remained in normal service until 1993.
