Caption - Southern Railway (India) broad gauge WT class 2-8-4T's 14017 and 14012 are seen near Basin Bridge between duties on the Madras outer suburban service in March 1968. Only 29 locos of this type were built by Chittaranjan Loco Works between 1959 and 1967 with 9 allocated to Madras. These locos entered service in 1965 and 1966 so were almost new when photographed.
