Caption - East African Railways metre gauge 4-8-0 2302 (Beyer Peacock 6129/23) at Soroti in Uganda during December 1970. Originally built for the Tanganyika Railways by Beyer Peacock in 1923 the six members of the DL class became class 23 when EAR was formed in 1948. When photographed, 2302 was far from its original home and today is exhibited at the Nairobi Railway Museum.
