Caption - South African Railways (SAR) 6B class 4-6-0 no.500 (Neilson 5133/1897) at De Aar loco shed in October 1968. Fifty-five locos of this class were built in 1897 and 1898. This loco represents an age of classic colonial locos being produced in the UK. Today this loco is plinthed at Vereeniging station.
