Caption - South African Railways NGG11 class 2-6-0 Garratt no. 54 at Port Elizabeth in 1971. There were five locos in the class built by Beyer Peacock. No. 54 (BP 6199/25) was part of the second order delivered in 1925 and was erected in the Durban workshops. No. 54 worked in Natal before being transferred to the Avontuur line in 1964 where it worked around the Humewood Road depot until withdrawal in 1974.
