Caption - Myanmar Railways YC class 4-6-2 no.629 is seen at Thagaya in January 2000. Ordered by Burma Railways they had a sizeable fleet of these useful Pacifics. 629 was built by Vulcan Foundry (UK) in 1948 and was one of a number of steam locos of various classes that were used for enthusiast specials. YC's were also used on Indian Railways with a small number built between 1928 and 1931. Similar to the YB pacifics, the YC's had bigger boilers.
