Turkish Railways 56301 class "Skyliners" north of Cankiri
Caption - A pair of Turkish Railways (TCDD) 56301 class "Skyliners" head a freight between Cankiri and Karabuk on the line from Irmak to Zonguldak in September 1984. Vulcan Iron Works (USA) completed the order for 88 locos between 1947 and 1949. They had the largest boilers of any Turkish locos and were the only class to be equipped with mechanical stokers.
