Caption - South African Railways - Sunday afternoon at Bloemfontein loco shed in May 1985. Four 15F class 4-8-2's being prepared for work on Monday morning. This shed was still a hive of activity with around 60 locos in steam plus a growing line of stored and withdrawn locos. Most of the 15F's were used on shunts and trip workings with a few do some line work to Modderpoort on the Bethlehem line. Other classes seen during the visit were 19D class 4-8-2's and 25NC class 4-8-4's.
