Caption - Pakistan Railways broad gauge CWD class 2-8-2 no.5590 approaching Shorkot with a special train from Khanewal in February 1988. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works, Montreal, Canada (72980/45) this loco was one of a batch of 22 Locomotives built for the US Army Transport Corps (USATC no. M90) in 1945. 809 locos of this class were sent to India of which 72 were transferred at Partition to the West Pakistan Railway in 1947.
