Caption - Rhodesian Railways (RR) 12th class 4-8-2 no.258 shunting at Salisbury in March 1970. This was the last 12th class built by North British (24007/1930) making a total of 55 locos to this design. How things have changed. Rhodesia is now Zimbabwe and Salisbury was renamed to Harare shortly after independence. Most of the class were withdrawn before 1978 but one example, no.190, was steamed for steam specials in the 1990s.
