Caption - Motipur Sugar Factory was home to an interesting 2-foot gauge railway. By the early 1980s they had four active locos from a variety of builders. No.4 was an 0-6-0WT built by John Fowler (15990/1923) and is seen here shunting empty wagons at the mill in 1984 Of note are the bullock carts on the right. These and many others were used to transport cane to the mill. During my last visit there was a queue of over fifty carts waiting to unload.
