Indian Railways WP class 7158 with the"Taj Express"
Caption - Indian Railways broad gauge WP class 4-6-2 no. 7158 with the southbound "Taj Express" at Mathura Junction in March 1976. This named train ran from Delhi to Agra in two and a half hours allowing passengers time to visit the Taj Mahal before returning to Delhi. Mathura Junction was a busy station with plenty of activity throughout the day. Today the "Taj Express" continues in operation but is extended beyond Agra to Gwalior and Jhansi.
