Caption - Indonesian Railways (PJKA) 3-foot 6-inch gauge CC50 class 2-6-6-0 Mallets CC5024 and CC5030 at Cibatu loco depot in 1983. At the time of the visit there were five members of this class active from Cibatu working trains on the branch to Garut. This service was an easy task with trains often consisting of just one or two passenger vehicles. C5024 (Werkspoor 575/1928) and CC5030 (SLM 3254/1928) were sharing the service during this visit. Externally the locos looked in good condition but sadly the difficulties in maintenance of a complex design often meant they limped along with their meagre loads.
